Unlike the previous post, this one matters just a bit more. I promise my future art will be far better than what came before, because as of the time I created this post, I have improved in my craft significantly.
Who am I?
My name is TheCosmicHiroshi, but Hiro or Hiroshi is fine. I'm a multimedia artist that doesn't really post a lot of art and music, but hopefully with the revival of this account after three years of dormancy from when I last opened it, I can rectify that in the coming months. I draw both traditionally and digitally, and am hoping at some point to get started on proper large-scale animation collaborations I could try my hand at creating with some friends.
What to know about me:
- I'm a total animation goober. Stop-motion, traditional 2D animation, 3D... you name it, there's probably a film or series in there I'll love somewhere. If I had to pick some of my favorite series, Cartoon Network's mystery drama TV series Infinity Train, Disney's fantasy drama TV series The Owl House, the indie series' Helluva Boss, Monkey Wrench, & Lackadaisy, and Studio Gainax's Gurren Lagann come to mind.
- I draw 2D art. I tend to do it digitally using the Krita art software or traditionally on pen and paper sometimes. This will likely be my most common media upload, though a schedule is never guaranteed for this.
- I also compose music. My score creation tools of choice are the free music notation software MuseScore4 and the Soundtrap online software. These will be less frequently uploaded than drawings, due to the time they take to complete compared to my art.
- Video games wash upon my soul like an eroded beach, and I love a good video game every once in a while. Some video games have captivated me upon the first few hours and have kept me hooked for more, including games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom & Breath of the Wild, Sonic Mania, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and Terraria. Some even serve as inspiration for my works.
- I edit audio and videos, though this is a rarity, even amongst my other projects. My primary goal someday is to complete my audio-visual workstation set-up to begin work on some animated projects.
Plans for the Future (The Bucket List)
Expect this list to be updated in future iterations.
- (VERY LONG-TERM) Begin work on a complete animated series and a feature-length animated indie film to post on Newgrounds and YouTube with several people collaborating on the project. This is a dream of mine, and I'm hoping to acquire the skill set needed to pull something like this off, likely spanning several years. I cannot guarantee something like this will happen, but one can try, right?
- (Medium-Term) Invest in better audio equipment. This will help me build up my confidence in the VA role, and will likely serve as my first forays into other voiced projects or songs/song covers. This is a priority for me.
- (Long-Term) Invest in better computer hardware. This one is self-explanatory in wake of my need for video editing software and other functions. At the moment, this is not a priority for me.
- (Short-Term) Open a Ko-fi for commissions. While this is easy to attain, I want to be able to build up a sizable portfolio of work I can share with you guys, and then determine whether or not I should open commissions. At the moment, this is not a priority.
